I'll overwhelm 'credible boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be broadcast live on Netflix.

Briton Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming bout.

Ex twice world title holder Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth disparity - at Miami arena on 19 December.

Fighter's Mindset

"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35, said.

"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.

"I will genuinely try to injure him. That's my intention."

Respectful Interaction

In spite of those words, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul instead targeted former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Fighter

Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.

Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.

He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.

Commercial Success

Nevertheless, the novice remains one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving massive paydays.

Forecast and Belief

The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in round four or five and stated he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.

"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.

Size Difference

As Joshua and Paul engaged in the traditional confrontation, with their size difference clearly visible, it highlighted just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the match is actually going ahead.
